What are the responsibilities and job description for the 8th Annual Charity Golf Tournament Volunteers Urgent position at Animal House Project?

Of the many millions of dogs and cats surrendered to shelters or abandoned each year in the United States, approximately one million surrenders/abandonments were due to the owners financial inability to provide for the basic needs of their pets; pet food and veterinary care.
Have you ever wondered what would happen if you had to surrender your family pet(s) to a shelter simply because you could not afford to feed or provide basic veterinary care for them?
Returning military veterans and their families; retired military veterans and seniors who are living on a fixed income; domestic violence families; medically stressed families - Cancer; Parkinson; ALS; MS and families that are still struggling from the recent COVID-19 Pandemic. We cut across all sectors of the populations and the need seems to be increasing not decreasing in people needing our help.

Okay .. we are gearing up for Animal House Project's 8th Annual Charity Golf Tournament to be held on Monday July 27, 2026 at French Creek Golf Club!! Every year we have had beautiful weather and fingers crossed this year will also be a wonderful event but we need volunteers to help the day of. Set up starts at 7 am am at the Golf Course and Registration begins at 8 am and the day ends at 5 pm with breakdown.
We need volunteers who can give us 1 hour or a few hours. Can't stay for the whole day, can you help in the morning or the afternoon? Box Lunch and Dinner is provided!! We need moderators for the Hole-in-One Contest and for the various events to include selling raffle basket tickets.; helping our golf guests and sponsors.
If you love Golf, being outdoors and animals then this is the event for you. Last year we had 120 golfers!!
