Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and administering medications as directed
• Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas through regular sanitization and organization
• Handle animals with gentle restraint techniques to ensure safety during cleaning, feeding, and medical procedures
• Monitor animal behavior to identify signs of stress or illness and report concerns promptly
• Assist with pet boarding, pet sitting, and outdoor walks to promote physical activity and mental stimulation
• Uphold pet care facility sanitization standards to ensure a hygienic environment for animals and staff

Skills

• Strong animal handling skills
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during kennel cleaning or equipment setup
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and visitors
• Outdoor work experience to handle pets during walks or outdoor playtime
• Work in a fast pace environment and multi task
