What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Attendant position at Animal Hospital of Livermore?
Animal Hospital of Livermore is looking for a Part Time Kennel Assistant to join our team. We are looking for a positive, friendly and compassionate person who is highly motivated to help us provide excellent care to our patients and outstanding service to our clients. The successful candidate will be dependable, punctual and able to work some weekends and holidays. You must be comfortable handing both cats and dogs. Some previous experience in veterinary medicine is preferred but we will train the right person. Duties include:
-Cleaning and maintaining hospital facilities, kennels and doing laundry
-Feeding and walking animals
-All aspects of animal care
-Assisting the Veterinarian with procedures and treatments
- Direct client communication
- Some reception duties
-Must be able to lift 40 pounds and stand on your feet for up to 8 hours
