What are the responsibilities and job description for the VETERINARY ASSISTANT/KENNEL TECHNICIAN position at ANIMAL HOSPITAL OF LINDALE?
We are a full service veterinary hospital specializing in providing high quality medicine to our patients and exceptional client/patient service. We are looking to add a team member that must have a warm and caring personality, a positive attitude, and at least a year of veterinary experience.
Job Responsibilities: Responsibilities include helping animals in the kennel area, bathing dogs, weekend rotational duties. You will be asked to help veterinarians and veterinary technicians collecting samples (blood and fecals). Help in performing laboratory tests according the sample taken. Close working relationship with the animals and clients. Listening attentively and a professional attitude is a must. As a team member, you must be proficient in following directions and be a self motivated starter. The ability to multitask is essential.
Qualifications: Experience preferred, but the candidate with the ability to multitask and quick learner will be considered.
