Job Description Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for a qualified Kennel Technician.
Qualified applicants would have reliable transportation, available to work weekends and be a minimum of 18 years of age. Animal Harbor is a drug free work place. We are looking for a friendly person who possess a professional attitude and a willingness to work for the greater good of our animals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cleaning kennels and daily care of animals
- Vet drop off and pickups
- Cleaning lobby and various other areas in the facility
- Administering pet medications
- Cat/dog socialization
- ALWAYS MEETING THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FIVE FREEDOMS FOR SHELTER ANIMALS
- Any other task assigned by management
Preferred Skills:
Attention to detail, deep love and respect of animals, organization, working in a fast paced environment, promptness, practical thinking, good communication skills, and critical thinking skills are a plus.
