General
Provides operational support, stewardship, and outreach support to ensure the successful implementation of giving programs.
Major Responsibilities
Program Operations Support
- Supports implementation and day-to-day operations of corporate and recurring giving programs, including BizPAWS, Animal Advocate Club, sponsorships, and other assigned initiatives.
- Maintains program materials, inventories, and documentation.
Donor Stewardship & Engagement
- Assists with donor onboarding, recognition, and stewardship communications.
- Helps maintain consistent contact with donors through thank-you messaging, updates, and engagement touchpoints.
Prospect Pipeline Management
- Maintains and tracks corporate giving leads and partnership prospects.
- Conducts outreach to prospective donors and community partners as directed by the Giving Program Manager.
- Identifies potential partnership opportunities through community networking and research.
Data & Records Management
- Maintains accurate donor records in the donor management system.
- Tracks donor interactions, recognition commitments, and giving history.
Fundraising & Event Support
- Assists with planning and logistics for donor appreciation events and fundraising initiatives.
- Supports organization-wide campaigns such as peer-to-peer fundraising efforts and Colorado Gives Day.
Communications Support
- Assists in preparing donor communications, including acknowledgement letters, recognition materials, and program correspondence.
- Supports preparation of proposals, presentations, and informational materials for donor outreach.
Community Engagement
- Represents Animal Friends Alliance at networking and community events as assigned to support donor outreach and relationship development.
Team Collaboration
- Participates in Development team meetings and provides updates on assigned program activities.
Other Duties:
- Attends weekly departmental meetings and other appropriate team meetings, and one-on-one meetings with direct supervisor.
- Attends quarterly staff meetings with the full Animal Friends Alliance team.

Requirements
Education/Experience
Education:
- Required: 2 years of college or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
- Required: 1-3 years’ related experience and demonstrated success in fundraising or business partnerships.
- Preferred: 3 years of related experience and demonstrated success in fundraising or business partnerships.
Miscellaneous:
- Valid Driver’s License: Required
- Sincere interest in Animal Friends Alliance’s mission and vision.
- This is a full-time position budgeted for 40 hours per week.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of donor development and recognition.
- Knowledge of corporate giving/partnerships.
- Knowledge of Google Suites, including Gmail and Google Drive.
- Experience with database management and donor CRMs in particular.
