Happy Hippo LLC (happyhippo.com) is the world’s leading online kratom retailer, along with other popular botanical and herbal supplements.To support our continued growth and success, we are seeking to expand our team with a Regional Sales Representative. This position is open remotely throughout the US as well as locally in Boise, Idaho.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in the kratom or tobacco industry, strong understanding of the sales process, generating leads, building and maintaining professional relationships and closing deals. The Regional Sales Representative must be personable, professional, and a quick learner with strong negotiation skills who can compellingly showcase our offering.
Sales Representative Responsibilities:
- Presenting our Happy Hippo Kratom products and services to potential retail clients (e.g. vape stores, convenience stores, health shops, etc.)
- Cold calling new leads every day and tracking lead progress in a CRM.
- Manage existing wholesale accounts and help drive sales in their locations.
- Help create marketing campaigns for stores and retailers in your territory.
- Taking initiative to deep dive and learn all the necessary details about our products and customers
- Providing product education to leads and accounts.
Qualifications for Sales Representative:
- MUST have worked in the kratom or tobacco industry previously
- 6-12 months of phone sales experience preferred. Cold calling is a requirement.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both clients and suppliers
- Skilled in negotiation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Time management skills
- Highly self-motivated
- A commitment to excellent customer service
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred - or in the process of obtaining a degree
