At AERC, our Dentistry Technicians are deeply involved in the technical and procedural side of dental care—from diagnostics and charting to assisting with advanced procedures. If you love detail-oriented work, diagnostics, and seeing a case through from start to finish, this role gives you the opportunity to fully use and grow your skills.
What You’ll Do
- Take and ensure high-quality full-mouth dental radiographs
- Perform dental cleanings, charting, and periodontal assessments
- Assist veterinarians with advanced dental procedures and oral surgery
- Accurately document findings, treatments, and client communication in the EMR
- Maintain and troubleshoot dental equipment and instruments
- Ensure proper instrument care, sterilization, and workflow efficiency
- Educate clients on dental health, home care, and follow-up needs
- Collaborate closely with the anesthesia team to support efficient procedures

Requirements
- Certified/Registered/Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) or equivalent experience
- 1 year of clinical experience in a veterinary setting
- Basic anesthesia knowledge and monitoring skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication with both team members and clients
Preferred
- Experience in dentistry or specialty practice
- Familiarity with dental radiology and charting
- Interest in advancing skills in dental care
