At AERC, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians, VTS team members, and veterinarians across multiple specialties—supporting high-quality patient care and exceptional client service every step of the way.
What You’ll Do

Safely restrain patients and support procedures as directed

Be an extra set of hands, where ever the team needs you the most

Prepare supplies, equipment, and treatment areas

Collect and run basic diagnostics as trained

Clean, stock, and maintain exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment

Support accurate documentation and workflow in the EMR
-
Communicate clearly and calmly with team members in high-stress situations

Support technicians and doctors with patient care and treatments
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe hospital environment
Schedule
- Day shift (hours may vary based on hospital needs)
- Includes weekends and holidays
Requirements

Previous experience working with animals in a clinical, shelter, or veterinary setting

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Comfort working in a busy, high-acuity environment

Basic computer skills and ability to learn EMR systems

Ability to stand, lift, and assist with animal handling for extended periods
Preferred

Veterinary Assistant or Technician Assistant experience

Enrollment in or interest in a Veterinary Technology program

Prior experience in emergency or specialty medicine
