Animal Emergency of Gainesville provides urgent and critical care to pets in the Gainesville, GA community when they need it most. Our dedicated emergency team delivers high-quality medicine in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. We are currently seeking an Emergency Veterinarian for a 30-hour/week benefits-eligible schedule. Part-time options are also available for those seeking fewer hours. We are also happy to consider candidates interested in overnight/weekend-only with holiday-focused schedules. We are flexible in building a schedule that supports your preferred work style.

Clinic Snapshot

• Practice type: ER- You'll triage, stabilize, and treat a wide range of small animal emergency and critical care cases
• Avg. daily patient volume: 15-20
• Support staff ratio: 2 per DVM during the week and 4 per DVM on weekends
• Casemix: This facility provides urgent care and emergency outpatient services for pets on a walk-in basis.
• Advanced diagnostic tools to include ultrasound, Idexx in-house point-of-care blood analyzer suite, and digital radiography

You are a veterinarian who is:

• Passionate about patient care and long-term client relationships
• 30 hours per week qualifies for full benefits

• Part-time schedules (under 30 hours) available for candidates seeking reduced hours

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university (required)
