Starting Pay: $24/hr $2/hr Shift Differential
Sign-On Bonus: $1,500
Schedule: three 12-hour shifts per week

We handle a wide range of urgent and life-threatening cases and offer comprehensive emergency services including critical anesthesia, transfusion medicine, oxygen therapy, and overnight patient care hospitalization and monitoring.
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) who is ready to take their emergency and critical care skills to the next level. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrates exceptional patient care abilities, and excels in communication and teamwork.
- Provide high-quality nursing care and technical support during emergency and urgent care cases.
- Administer medications, CRIs, and perform transfusion medicine.
- Monitor anesthesia for critical patients, all surgical procedures, and outpatient procedures.
- Operate and maintain medical equipment including snyder oxygen units, multiparameter monitoring tools, ultrasound, digital radiography, and wireless monitoring devices.
- Perform phlebotomy, place intravenous catheters, and manage nasogastric feeding tubes.
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians, team members, and pet owners.
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold hospital protocols and AAHA standards.
- Must be a Licensed Veterinary Technician with a current Michigan license.
- 2β3 years of clinical experience at a veterinary clinic or hospital, preference given to ER or critical care experience.
- Proficiency with emergency procedures, proper animal handling, and restraint.
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as part of a rotating schedule.
- Ability to continue learning new skills and teach early career veterinary assistants and technicians.
