As a Veterinary Technician at Animal Care Clinic of Titusville, you will be an essential part of our medical team. You’ll assist veterinarians in delivering high-quality care, support patient treatments and procedures, and help ensure the best possible experience for pets and their families. This role is ideal for someone with strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a genuine passion for animal health.

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to a variety of species
Assist doctors with exams, surgeries, diagnostics, and client communication
Maintain accurate records and high standards in all tasks
Contribute as a valued member of a team that supports your growth and well being
Bring strong experience and leadership skills, as this role may grow into a Lead Technician position
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent
Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT) desirable but not required.
Additional responsibilities include:
-Assist veterinarians with surgeries, and diagnostics.
-Anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance – Experienced in patient preparation, anesthetic monitoring, and supporting a variety of surgical procedures.
-Dentistry – Skilled in performing dental cleanings and obtaining high-quality diagnostic dental radiographs
-Diagnostic imaging and sample collection – Competent in safely obtaining radiographs and collecting blood, urine, fecal, and other samples in accordance with established protocols.
-Prepare all patients for surgical sterilizations
-Meet with Veterinarian monthly to establish and discuss scheduled goals and key objectives.
-Perform laboratory work including blood draws, urinalysis, skin scrapings, and cultures
-Administer medications, injections, and emergency procedures as needed
-Client communication – Strong ability to explain treatment plans, review discharge instructions, and address client questions with clarity and compassion.
What We’re Looking For
-Minimum 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician (Required)
-Certification preferred but not required
-A calm, compassionate presence especially in emergencies
-Excellent communication skills with both clients and coworkers
-A team player who thrives in a fast paced, collaborative environment
-Physical ability to safely lift and restrain pets (with team support for pets over 40 lbs.)
-Comfort working in conditions that may include noise, odors, and close contact with animals
