The selectee will provide guidance, operational direction and administrative services supporting a host of activities aimed at protecting the health, welfare and value of our nation's plants, animals and natural resources.
TIME-IN-GRADE: Current federal employees applying for a promotion opportunity must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirement of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled.
FOR THE GS-13 LEVEL: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-12 level) that may have been obtained in the private or public (local, county, state, Federal) sectors which demonstrates:

- Knowledge of department/agency policy, procedures and federal regulations governing a wide range of administrative services functions to design, plan and implement business process improvement projects in an appropriate fashion and assist in the delivery of support services.
- Analytical skills and experience in designing, programming, and monitoring databases for branch activities and developing trend analysis necessary for decision making, problem solving, and executing administrative support programs.
- Researching, analyzing, and interpreting program data from a variety of sources with the ability to provide written summaries in a clear, concise, and comprehensive manner meaningful to those in policy-making and decision-making positions
