BRIEF DESCRIPTION
- Writing programs for PLC’s, HMI’s, VFD’s, and other Control System components.
- Create control system schematics and designs using AutoCAD.
- Designing and commissioning multiple communication network types.
- Assisting with initial system startup checkouts and system debugging and troubleshooting.
- Working on both new equipment projects and retrofits to existing equipment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Requires Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer skills preferred, but willing to train, include:
- Rockwell Automation (RSLogix5000, Studio5000, FactoryTalk View Studio)
- Siemens programming (TIA Portal)
- AutoCAD
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Legacy Rockwell Automation a plus (RSLogix5, RSLogix500, PanelBuilder32)
- Experience in VM Workstation a plus
- Experience with retrofit projects a plus.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once.
- Willingness to travel on occasion to visit jobsites.
- Strong problem solving, teamwork, written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in an Industrial Capital Equipment Manufacturer a plus, but willing to train.
