Role
This position is responsible for the overall injectin manufacturing operational process. The Injection Molding Supervisor will
-Ensure that injection machines are maintained and running properly
-Train new team members / supervise activities
-Work with engineering & management to ensure and innovate quality processes
-Ensure compliance with environmental safety regulations
Responsibilities:
- Operate injection / compression molding equipment
-Manage daily and weekly production goals to meet deadlines
- Monitor & maintain machines to keep output steady and prevent downtime
- Lead shift planning, log performance data, and tracking material inventory
-Develop injection molding processes in an ISO 9000 environment
-Participate in technical activities related to new product development efforts from tool design through prototype delivery and production planning
-Work with management team to ensure proper process control documentation and continuous improvement information is generated for assigned projects
-Enforce safety rules, standard operating procedures and facility cleanliness
Background, Experience, & Qualifications
-Hands-on experience operating injection molding equipment on the shop floor and desire to be in a technical lead role preferred
-Knowledge of injection molding materials, tooling, equipment troubleshooting a plus
-Ability to develop manufacturing processes and ensure established processes for injection molding are robust and repearable and ready for production scale-up
