What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Worker Hiring Event position at Angstrom Fiber Englewood?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: other duties may be assigned
- Remove parts and materials from equipment line and perform quality inspections.
- Assemble and pack parts as part of a manufacturing cell.
- Use fixtures, templates, dies and/or machinery (e.g. presses, grinders) and hand tools such as rivet guns, sonic welders and measuring tapes.
- Achieve production objectives following work instructions, performing in a safe manner and according to Hematite policies and procedures.
- Support tool change overs.
- Record production and scrap.
- Print and apply labels to finished goods bins.
- Adhere to all safety rules and environmental laws and procedures.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong attention to detail
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to follow a step by step process consistently
- Basic computer use skills
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Previous automotive high volume manufacturing preferred
