Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of die repair technicians, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Oversee the die repair process from start to finish, ensuring quality standards are met and maintained.
- Conduct regular inspections of dies and repair work to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve die-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inventory of tools and materials.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Assist in training new technicians and promote a culture of continuous learning and development.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in die repair or a similar role, with at least 3 years in a supervisory position.
- Strong knowledge of die repair techniques, tools, and materials.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards in the workplace.

- Tool/Die/Mold Setup Experience
- Blueprint Reading
- Microsoft Excel
