M&A Attorney - Insurance - New York City
Angove Partners is partnering with a top tier insurance underwriter, seeking a Corporate Attorney in New York to join their team as a Vice President. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in Corporate M&A at a law firm.
What is the role?
As a member of the underwriting team on transactional insurance deals, you will handle a variety of workstreams in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. The role will be very hands-on and provide in-depth exposure to M&A and corporate transactions. This role is based in New York City.
What will you be doing?
- Draft insurance solutions for complex M&A transactions, namely RWI.
- Advise private equity, corporate, and law firm clients on risk transfer strategies related to R&W exposures in deal contexts.
- Lead negotiations with clients and brokers, securing competitive terms, pricing, and coverage enhancements.
- Coordinate cross-functional deal teams, including legal, accounting, investment banking, and underwriting partners.
What do you need to apply to this role?
We anticipate that candidates will have at least 5 years of Corporate/M&A Law experience. Experience working with RWI would be advantageous.
