What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Auditor position at Angola Wire Products, Inc.?
Angola Wire Products is a premier Midwest steel wire, sheet metal and tube fabricator of quality parts.
We manufacture a wide variety of items from wire racks, POP displays, wire baskets, complex and basic weldments, wire grids and wire shelves.
Qualifications include:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Working knowledge of measuring tools and equipment
- Strong math and geometry skills
- Ability to document and maintain records
- Familiar with computer Microsoft systems and email
- Ability to gather and analyze data to identify problems and improve product quality
- Inspection experience in manufacturing
Responsibilities include:
- Operate and program Romer Portable CMM - PC-DMIS software
- In-process audit of all work stations throughout manufacturing departments
- Perform receiving inspection procedures
- Identification and control of nonconformance materials
- First and Last piece sample inspection
- Internal Quality System audits
- Perform part layouts using measurement techniques
- Communicate discovered quality issues to department Supervisors
- Verify corrective actions of quality issues are effective and acceptable
- Perform various quality tasks as needed

Our 2nd shift works Monday - Thursday 10 hour days with minimal Overtime. Do Not work on Weekends or Company Holidays.
