About the position:
Assist Compliance Department with documentation coordination including policies, regulatory reporting, additional development requests for both Medicare and Non-Medicare payors as well as medical records requests from outside entities.
Essential Job Functions:
Submit additional development requests timely.
Coordinate with home health and hospice agencies to obtain medical records.
Assist Policy Review Committee Chairperson with amendments as needed.
Assist with quarterly credit balance report submission for each home health and hospice.
Assist with annual cost report submission for each home health and hospice.
Performs special projects as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Skills:
2-3 years of experience in a Home Health or Hospice setting.
High school diploma.
Must have strong work ethics.
Must be able to follow standard filing procedures.
Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable.
Proficient in Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat DC
Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
Strong problem-solving skills, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to interact with others in a professional manner.
Ability to speak and write English.
Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy, timeliness and initiative.
Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
