Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems within the facility. This role requires expertise in programmable logic controllers, HVAC/R systems, and electrical maintenance, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hydraulics, HVAC systems, and electrical components.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory.
- Operate scissor lifts and other machinery safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in repairs and installations.
- Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide customer service support as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or technician in a manufacturing facility.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their applications in industrial settings.
- Strong understanding of HVAC/R systems, including installation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with welding techniques relevant to manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Background in field service or industrial electrician roles is advantageous.
- Military experience related to mechanical or electrical fields is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
