Anglin Civil is a trusted provider in the construction, and Snow Removal industry. We specialize in maintaining and supporting large fleets and equipment for construction and snow removal operations. We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support our sourcing and inventory management process by entering accurate part information into our in-house system.
Position Summary:
The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for accurately entering part details into the company’s internal system. This includes recording barcodes, part numbers, and sourcing information for all parts received by mechanics and technicians. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter part details (barcode, part number, source/vendor, and other specifications) into the in-house tracking system.
- Ensure all data entry is accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner.
- Verify information provided by mechanics and technicians against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Maintain organized digital and/or physical records of all parts received.
- Assist in reconciling discrepancies between system entries, purchase orders, and physical parts.
- Support sourcing and inventory teams by ensuring accurate documentation of incoming parts.
- Collaborate with mechanics, technicians, and procurement staff to clarify information when needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company data management policies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in data entry, inventory management, or administrative support (preferred).
- Knowledge of automotive and heavy diesel equipment parts (a plus but not required).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with inventory or ERP systems (preferred but not required; training provided).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
