Duties
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles including sedans, limousines, shuttle buses, box trucks, and other assigned transportation modes to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Maintain a clean, well-maintained vehicle by performing routine inspections and basic mechanical checks to guarantee safety and reliability.
- Plan efficient routes considering traffic conditions, weather, and client schedules to optimize travel time.
- Provide courteous, personalized customer service by assisting clients with luggage, opening doors, and attending to special requests.
- Keep accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records for reporting purposes.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and company policies while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism.
- Coordinate with security or event staff as needed for special arrangements or VIP events.
- Respond promptly to last-minute schedule changes or urgent requests with flexibility and positive attitude.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving roles such as limousine services, shuttle driving, school bus driving, or delivery driver positions.
- Strong knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns, and navigation tools to ensure efficient routing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with high-profile clients and VIPs.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and identify potential issues early.
- Ability to operate various vehicle types including buses, box trucks, limousines, and standard sedans confidently and safely.
- Familiarity with vehicle safety regulations and licensing requirements relevant to
driver roles. - Exceptional driving record with a clean license history; experience in bus driving or school bus operation is highly desirable.
