Overview:
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our small but hard-working team. The ideal candidate will be dependable, work well with others, and enthusiastic about providing high-quality medical care to children of all ages. This position is full-time.
Duties:
- Greet and assist patients and families in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer telephone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with office administrative tasks
- Provide direct patient care including vital measurements, basic screenings
- Prepare and administer immunizations
- Assist Spanish-speaking families with interpreting and paperwork
Skills:
- Must be good with children
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with PC computers and the Internet
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, learn quickly, and work well under pressure
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Successful completion of Medical Assistant training program
- Previous experience not required
- Proof of immunization to Hepatitis B, Measles, and Tetanus and Pertussis (Tdap, within past 5 years)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
