Duties
- Conduct structured swimming lessons tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers
- Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and water safety practices with clarity and patience
- Monitor participants’ performance during lessons, providing constructive feedback and encouragement
- Manage behavior and maintain discipline to foster a positive learning atmosphere
- Collaborate with colleagues to organize special aquatic programs such as swim clinics or water safety workshops
Experience
- Prior experience as a lifeguard or in sports coaching, especially in swimming is recommended but NOT REQUIRED!
- Ability to work with children and students of diverse ages and backgrounds.
Certifications
- You will be certified in USA Swimming through Angleton Pacesetters.
- Deep water lifeguard cert is appreciated but not required.
- Water Safety Instructor cert is appreciated but not required.
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
