We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Parts and Warranty Counter Person to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Assist customers at the counter by providing product information, troubleshooting issues, and recommending parts or services based on their needs.
- Manage parts inventory through accurate data entry, inventory control, and warehouse management systems.
- Process warranty claims efficiently by verifying coverage, documenting repairs, and coordinating with manufacturers or OEMs.
- Collaborate with suppliers to source parts promptly, while maintaining strong supplier relationships to ensure availability of quality components.
- Support procurement management by reviewing demand planning data, managing order management systems, and ensuring timely shipping & receiving of parts.
- Utilize computer based knowledge to assist with technical inquiries and ensure proper part matching.
- Maintain organized records of all transactions, warranty submissions, and inventory movements while adhering to safety standards like forklift operation when necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in marine dealership or automotive service environments with a strong understanding of Warranty submission and repair processes.
- Familiarity with supply chain management, procurement management, sourcing, and logistics operations.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and experience with order management systems.
- Mechanical knowledge related to marine equipment repair, and OEM parts is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to perform data entry accurately while managing warehouse operations including shipping & receiving tasks.
- Valid forklift certification or warehouse experience is a plus.
