Landscape Foreman

JOB Overview:

MUST HAVE LANDSCAPE EXPERIENCE

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and construction of outdoor spaces, including lawns, gardens, and landscapes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in groundskeeping, landscape construction, and tree care, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of landscape workers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Conduct site visits to inspect and maintain landscaping and groundskeeping, identifying and addressing any issues that may arise.
• Develop and implement plans for lawn care, groundskeeping, and tree care, including pruning, fertilizing, and irrigation.
• Supervise the installation of hardscapes, such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls, and ensure that they meet safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and coordinated approach to landscape management.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, including hours worked, materials used, and any issues that may have arisen.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to client inquiries and addressing any concerns that may arise.
• Participate in the development of budgets and estimates for landscape projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

Experience:

• Proven experience in groundskeeping, landscape construction, or a related field.
• Strong background in lawn care, tree care, and irrigation.
• Experience with hardscape construction, including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Leadership experience, with the ability to supervise and manage a team of landscape workers.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and to lift and move heavy objects.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and the ability to maintain a safe working environment.
