Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. As a Journeyperson Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
-Ability to keep up with a high pace demanding schedule
- Perform electrical inspections to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Skills:
- Proficiency in the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations
- Familiarity with a variety of hand tools used in the electrical trade
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics and blueprints
- Previous experience as a commercial electrician or maintenance person is preferred
- Blueprint reading skills is a plus
- Ability to swap out outlets, switches, light fixtures, apartment panels is mandatory.
