Angie’s Angels Child Development is seeking a full-time Assistant Preschool Teacher to support our preschool classrooms and help children build the skills they need for Kindergarten. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with young children, values play-based learning, and wants a consistent daytime schedule in a supportive early childhood environment.

Most positions follow a typical daytime schedule (ex: 8:00am–5:00pm) within our center hours of 5:30am–5:30pm.

🧩 Responsibilities

As an Assistant Preschool Teacher, you will:

• Support the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and routines
  
  
• Help prepare and facilitate age-appropriate learning activities
  
  
• Assist with classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety
  
  
• Supervise children during play, learning, meals, and transitions
  
  
• Communicate respectfully with families and team members
  
  
• Help maintain classroom documentation and records
  
  
• Follow all licensing regulations and center policies
  
  

🎓 Qualifications

Required:

• At least 18 years of age
  
  
• High school diploma or equivalent
  
  
• Willingness to complete required trainings (CPR, First Aid, AED, Child Abuse Prevention)
  
  

Preferred (not required):

• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
  
  
• Interest in early childhood education or child development
  
  
• Dependable, patient, and team-oriented attitude
  

• CDA (Child Development Associate)

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20 lbs
