Under the direction of the President, this position will evaluate customer creditworthiness, establish credit terms, manage collection of past-due accounts, and ensure timely payment while supporting our sales growth. This role is critical to balancing risk management with strong customer relationships. Essential FunctionsEvaluate and approve credit applications; set appropriate credit limits and termsMonitor accounts receivable aging and manage collection of past-due accountsOversee issuance of preliminary notices and mechanics liens in accordance with the California laws.Develop and enforce credit policiesNegotiate payment plans and resolve billing discrepanciesPrepare reports as necessaryManage and train staff Qualifications5 years of credit management experience in manufacturing or construction industryKnowledge of California preliminary notice and mechanics lien lawsStrong mathematical, analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skillsKnowledge of the EDI process with mass resellers such as Home Depot and large-scale B2B accountsExperience with ERP systems and AR reporting toolsBachelor's Degree requiredProven ability to balance risk management with customer service SalaryCompetitive salary commensurate with experience.
