Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher Asst.to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The Preschool Teacher asst. will be responsible for assisting in implementing engaging lesson plans and curriculum tailored to the needs of each child, including those with special needs.
Duties
- Assist in the Development and implementation of age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning in areas such as math, literacy, and social skills.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Assist in Assessment of children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs, including those with disabilities or autism.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support a collaborative learning environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Associates degree in Early Childhhod or a related field preferred ; relevant experience or CDA may be considered for this position
- Experience in assisting in lesson planning and curriculum development for preschool-aged children.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices, including special education strategies for children with disabilities or autism.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.
- Ability to assist in creating an inclusive classroom environment that accommodates diverse learning needs.
- Previous experience in childcare or preschool settings is highly desirable.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
