We are looking for an individual that is looking for part hours in the Laurens County area. Someone that is responsible, willing to work and can be on time and available immediately.

Older women in Laurens SC area 8am-12am (doctor appointment days) some days 9am-1pm

Responsibilities

• Assist client with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• laundry
• light housekeeping
• accompany to doctors appointments
• needs help showering twice a week
• Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
• Help accompany to doctors' appointments if needed
• Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and social workers to create a comprehensive care plan tailored to each client’s needs.

Requirements

• Previous experience in nursing homes, in-homecare, caregiving, social work, or memory care is preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration protocols and ability to monitor vital signs is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• Ability to perform meal preparation and understand dietary restrictions as needed.
• Familiarity with dementia care practices is a plus.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if required.
