What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Admin position at Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health?
This is an on-site position in McKinney, TX.
As a Payroll Admin, you will be the liaison between our employees, payments, and the Payroll Office. You'll play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate payroll submissions. This role is a great opportunity for a highly detail-oriented individual with a strong customer service orientation.
In this role, you will:
- Respond to employee inquiries and requests regarding payroll matters.
- Manage the check release mailbox and process weekly payroll or off-cycle runs.
- Process off-cycle checks as requested by QA or Administration.
- Communicate with managers about outstanding time-off requests and unapproved timesheets.
- Verify figures for accuracy and obtain necessary approvals.
- Review payroll documentation for accuracy through audit reports and make necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate closely with Human Resources and Accounting on all payroll-related issues.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and reports, including additional add-ons to employees’ paychecks.
- Assist with the preparation of various payroll and management reports.
- Process garnishments, deductions, and PTO accruals.
- Protect operations by keeping information confidential and maintaining client confidence.
- Track and process employee referrals for qualification and payouts.
- Assist the billing department with resolving errors.
- Process new hire orientation pay requests.
Qualifications
- Previous Payroll experience preferred
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
- Excellent time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently, with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
Work Hours and Location
- This is an on-site position in McKinney, TX.
- Standard work schedule is Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (full-time, 40 hours per week).
Compensation
The anticipated compensation range is $18 - $20 per hour.
