We are seeking a reliable and experienced Snowplow Driver to ensure safe and efficient snow removal operations during winter months. Responsibilities
- Operate snowplow trucks and other heavy-duty commercial vehicles to clear snow and ice from roads, parking lots, and walkways.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on plow equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Follow designated routes and schedules to efficiently cover assigned areas.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding route status and any issues encountered.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and traffic laws while operating large vehicles in various weather conditions.
- Maintain accurate logs of work performed, vehicle usage, and any incidents or repairs needed.
Experience
- Prior experience with commercial driving.
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and dispatchers are essential.
