We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide high-quality care to clients in their homes. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor and observe patients' health status, reporting any changes or concerns promptly.
- Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary requirements are met
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being.
- Assist with light housekeeping duties such as laundry and cleaning to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Operate equipment like Hoyer lifts safely during transfers and mobility assistance
- Support clients with specialized needs including Alzheimer's care, dementia care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities
Experience
- Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments preferred, Will train.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration is highly desirable
- Experience working with people with disabilities or cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's or dementia is a plus
- Certification in CPR is required or must be obtained upon hire.
- Demonstrated ability to work compassionately with seniors and individuals requiring memory or hospice care
- Previous experience using medical equipment like Hoyer lifts or performing vital signs checks is preferred, will train.
