What are the responsibilities and job description for the Funeral Home Assistant position at Angels Cremation and Burial?
Job Overview
We are looking for a detailed person who can follow exact direction, handle cremains, keep accurate records, sometimes help with the deceased, have a clean driving record, (Hours can be flexible to some degree). This is a part time position with a possibility of full time depending on employees abilities and desire for additional work. Spanish speaking would bean added benefit but not required. Depending on work ethic pay raises frequently during the first year.
Responsibilities
- Clean and restock vehicles, fill vehicles with gas, keep accurate records of maintenance
- Log, Divide, Fill urns with cremains, prepare them for mailing, delivering, or pick up
- Sometimes help with the removal of deceased or preparing deceased for cremation
- Occasionally help with memorial or funeral services
- Assist families as needed
Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
Salary : $18 - $20
