We are looking for two special needs caregivers who will provide in-home services to relieve family members from the constant demand of responsibility of providing care for their loved ones with any developmental disabilities. We are looking for caregivers or anyone who is looking for a career in providing care to those who are in need. This job is looking for individuals interested in a Part-time position. The position will be responsible for assisting adults with autism and other developmental disabilities with important activities of daily living (ADLs) as well as companionship and support. We will provide training and we will make sure you are comfortable and answer any questions you may have.
We are looking for female caregivers who live near or reside in Fallbrook, CA. This is for a 32-year-old female with autism or related disorders. We are looking for someone who can provide care, supervision, companionship, and who is able to redirect any behaviors.
Available Shifts - Weekend Only:
Morning Shift (16hrs/week):
Saturday: 8:00am to 4:00pm
Sunday: 8:00am to 4:00pm
Evening Shift (16hrs/ week):
Saturday: 4:00pm to 9:00pm
Sunday: 4:00pm to 9:00pm
*Please note we may ask for assistance in covering other shifts, when needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting with individual personal care, such as bathing, toileting, and brushing teeth
- Assisting with common daily living activities such as meal preparation, help client pick up after herself, assist with laundry, and interact with any in home or outdoor activities
- Assisting with Performing routine household activities aimed at maintaining a clean and safe home
- Taking client on walks, planning activities for client
- Ability to effectively communicate with our client and other team members regarding clients day and progress
- Treat our client with dignity and respect
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Possess High School Diploma or equivalent
- Hold a valid California Driver's License in good standing; with insurance
- Applicant must be certified in First Aid and CPR, or ready and able to acquire
- Must be open to background check
- Must be registered or is willing to become registered with the Home Care Aide Registry.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Ranges between $20.00 to 25.00 per hour
