Angelo’s Glassboro Diner, a mainstay of the downtown Glassboro, New Jersey community for the past 70 years is urgently hiring for a part time sandwich/toast person to work Saturday 7am to 2pm and Sunday 8am to 2PM. If you enjoy preparing delicious sandwiches and toast, and providing excellent customer service, this is the job for you. At Angelos' we treat our staff and customers like family.
Hourly wage starting at $16.00 per hour. Great part-time job for a high school student or someone looking to supplement their income. The candidate must be reliable and have a great work ethic.
- How to Apply: Candidate must ask for Curtis and complete an in-person application at the diner 26 N. Main Street, Glassboro from 2:30PM to 5:30PM on Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, and Sun. (no exceptions)
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches and toast according to customer specifications and menu guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a grocery store or café setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling practices is important.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
