Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and customer service, with experience in the food industry. As a Bakery Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring that our bakery products are presented beautifully and maintained to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Duties Hours 6:45-11 or 11-3:30 during the week. Weekends 6:46-3:30 and Sunday 6:45-1. Apply only if serious. Must know how to count change and must memorize products and pricing. Must come in for interview.
- Assist customers with their selections and provide knowledgeable recommendations on bakery items.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bakery area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
Requirement
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
