Aesthetic Nurse Injector RN, NP, PA

Angell Medical Spa is a small, yet thriving, physician woman owned Aesthetic Medicine practice with a comprehensive and holistic approach to aesthetics and optimal aging, and dedication to improving our patients’ confidence.

We are looking for outstanding, experienced aesthetic injector(s) to grow our team. You must be positive, patient focused, team driven, and able to engage with patients and coworkers in a polished, professional and compassionate manner. You must have great attention to detail, excellent critical thinking and fine motor skills, artistry and spatial intelligence. You must be someone with a passion for learning and commitment to continued education in and out of the office in this rapidly-evolving field. You must demonstrate willingness to follow protocols and procedures that are in place in our practice. We are ideally looking for someone with 2 years of experience, however, we are willing to mentor and train the right person. Responsibilities:

• Quickly establish rapport and build trust with patients.
• Maintain a pleasant, helpful, and welcoming presence with all patients and staff.
• Develop personalized aesthetic treatment plans, communicate them effectively with patients, and facilitate achievement of set goals throughout the year.
• Provide education to patients about skincare, our products and services.
• Communicate realistic expectations and treatment outcomes.
• Comply with all safety standards, indications and contra-indications for treatment, daily preparation duties, ensure all unusual outcomes are identified and properly addressed.
• Maintain client confidentiality, and ensure quality and required documentation.
• Develop and maintain solid knowledge of skin, facial anatomy, neuromodulators and dermal fillers including recognition and treatment of complications.
• Maintain solid knowledge of all of our services and products and stay up to date on industry standards and options.
• Participate in continued medical education focused on the practice of aesthetics and wellness.
• Achieve and maintain monthly profit productivity targets
• Participate in marketing and social media content creation.
• Present yourself in a manner consistent with our branding and mission with excellent self-care, natural appearance, minimal makeup, and appropriate attire.

Requirements:

Absolute:

• Minimum 4 days / 32 hours per week availability
• To start: M, Th, F with an additional day on T or W. (Optimal for training/shadowing.)
• Ongoing schedule TBD based on your training level, the needs of the business, and your availability.
• RN/NP/PA with current licensure in California
• Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA compliance
• Team mentality and appreciation for standards of care and consistency in care provided
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
• Social perceptiveness and service oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Interest in and respect for a holistic approach to care
• Ability to recognize a true natural aesthetic and maintain this for our patients
• Personal presentation consistent with our branding and mission with excellent self-care, natural appearance, minimal makeup, and appropriate attire.

Highly Preferred,

***However, we have a solid approach to training, and well organized materials and methods to assist in achieving these requirements for a motivated and talented individual.

• 2-3 year of experience in aesthetics with injectables
• Prior experience in a MedSpa, Dermatology, Cosmetic or Plastic Surgery practice
