Dishwasher/Runner @ Midtown Cafe

** This job post is for a PART-TIME Dishwasher from 7:45am to 4PM (TUE WED)**

Hi! We're looking for someone who can help us in various back/front of the house tasks including; cleaning our dishes and other tableware and kitchenware, organizing our kitchen, and even run food at times and help with other mixed duties at the restaurant. **THIS IS A PART TIME JOB ONLY AVAILABLE TUESDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS**

Responsibilities:

Our dishwashers as part of the back of the house staff, clean dishes and other tableware and kitchenware, receive and stock groceries, and other food items, might help prep ingredients, bring out food from time-to-time, help clear and clean tables, operate standard kitchen equipment safely, keep track of inventory, help set up and clean the restaurant and kitchen daily, take out the trash, keep their station spotless, smile, are kind, respectful, organized, punctual, and reliable.

Our dishwashers:

• Efficiently clean all table and kitchenware
• Come in early: 7:45am
• Work 8-10 hours daily standing up and bending constantly
• Are available on weekends and holidays
• Reach, bend, kneel, climb on a ladder, lift up to 50lbs
• Maintain their station well stocked
• Help keep track of inventory for cleaning products
• Have very high standards of hygiene and cleaning
• Maintain a clean and organized work station
• Are knowledgeable on our entire menu
• Cross-train in other stations of the café
• Collaborate with opening, closing and cleaning duties
• Are efficient, calm, composed
• Contribute to a safe and respectful work environment

Pre-Reqs:

• Min 1 year of experience at a food establishment (preferred)
• US work authorization (required)
• Ability to communicate in English (preferred)
• Ability to reliably commute (required)

• We're hiring for PART TIME ONLY (Tuesday and Wednesday)
• Hours of operation: 8am-3pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
