Compost Facility Manager

ANRA is seeking a motivated individual to join our team in the role of Facility Manager at our Neches Compost Facility located in Jacksonville Texas. This is a mid-management level position that reports to the Neches Compost Facility Director.

Ideal candidates will exhibit the ability to work with minimal supervision, possess organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail and correctness, ability to multi-task, positive attitude, ability to work well with others, strong initiative, ability to meet deadlines, and willingness to accept additional responsibilities.

Primary Duties:

· Assist with management of facility operations for collection and transportation of wastewater sludge, laboratory analysis, yard trimmings, grinding, and composting.

· Assist with maintaining biosolids collection and disposal activities in compliance with regulatory agencies stated guidelines.

· Utilize class “A” vehicles to collect Roll-off containers of biosolids for processing at the Facility and deliver finished product to customers as needed.

· Complete Waste Movement Records and any other related correspondence in a timely manner.

· Learn and know the purpose for collection and documentation of all samples collected associated with biosolids collection, transportation and disposal.

· Assist with maintaining ANRA’s equipment and vehicles to prolong the life of the fleet.

· Assist in the development of a marketing plan that will identify and target markets for compost sales.

· Assist with compost sales to the general public and ensure timely reporting of sales, and the deposits of proceeds from those sales.

Desired Qualifications:

· Must possess a valid Texas Class “A” Commercial driver’s license.

· Experience with a Roll-off trailer Preferred.

· Must be able to work with minimal supervision while following stated protocols.

· Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop a rapport with varying audiences and the general public.

· A team player with an honest and mature attitude and professional appearance that has the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.

· Possess a positive attitude and the ability to work well with others.

· A leader who challenges others to do their best work while providing the support necessary to maintain a successful working environment.

· Willingness and ability to learn new job skills and take on additional responsibilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,495.00 - $51,410.00 per year
