Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and other confections, ensuring each item meets our high standards for quality and presentation. Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a diverse range of baked goods such as bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, and specialty items following established recipes and standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment including mixers, ovens, proofers, and dough sheeters safely and efficiently.
• Decorate cakes and pastries with precision using various cake decorating techniques to create visually appealing products.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation standards throughout the shift.
• Package baked goods carefully for retail display or catering orders while ensuring freshness and presentation quality.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, dough preparation, and portioning to support high-volume production needs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods for daily sales or special events.

Experience

• Previous experience in food production or bakery settings is highly preferred, especially with high-volume baking environments.
• Demonstrated pastry preparation skills including dough handling, cake decorating, and recipe adherence.
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Skilled in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong knife skills for dough shaping, slicing baked goods, and ingredient prep.
• Experience in catering or large-scale food service operations is a plus.
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing portion sizes.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
