Angel Salazar Design, LLC is a luxury corporate floral and experiential design studio based in Chelsea, NYC. We serve some of the most recognized names in luxury and culture — delivering premium floral installations, event florals, holiday décor, and major branded experiences. We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Floral Purchaser to join our production team.

About the role:
In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, organizing, and preparing all materials needed for daily operations, events, and installations. You will work closely with the Design Director and Production team to ensure every project is fully resourced and ready before production begins.
What you'll own:
Procurement — Purchase and source fresh florals, plants, vessels, mechanics, and production supplies based on project requirements. Coordinate pickups and deliveries from floral wholesalers and vendors. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure consistent product availability and quality. Monitor pricing, identify substitutions when needed, and proactively communicate any sourcing challenges or inventory shortages to the team.
Inventory Management — Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory of florals, containers, mechanics, and studio supplies. Track incoming and outgoing materials, ensure proper storage, conduct regular inventory checks, and keep storage areas organized for maximum efficiency and accessibility.
Production Support — Review upcoming production schedules and ensure all materials are staged and ready in advance. Prepare and organize floral recipes, vessels, and mechanics for the production team. Process and condition florals according to studio standards and support an efficient workflow throughout production.
Logistics & Studio Operations — Assist with packing and preparing arrangements for delivery. Coordinate materials and supplies needed for off-site installations and events. Ensure all orders are complete and organized before dispatch. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized studio environment and support general studio operations as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in floral, events, retail, warehouse, inventory, or logistics environments
- Availability to begin the work day at 4:30 AM
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and move floral products, containers, and supplies as needed
Nice to have
- Prior experience purchasing flowers and floral supplies
- Knowledge of floral products, processing, and care
- Experience working with inventory systems or tracking tools
- Background in floral, event, hospitality, or creative production environments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
