Barista/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our café team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a desire to provide exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items with precision and care.
• Operate the Toast POS system for order processing and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, dining areas, and equipment.
• Provide friendly and knowledgeable service to customers, assisting them with their selections.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly while adhering to food safety standards.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or as a barista is required.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Familiarity with cash registers and basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
• Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a safe working environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help customers with their needs.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
