Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
- Administer medications as permitted by certification level (CMT)
- Monitor and document client health status, reporting changes to supervisory staff
- Support clients with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and nutritional monitoring
- Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe living environment for clients
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
Requirements:
- Valid CNA, GNA, HHA, or CMT certification in the state of Maryland
- Prior experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care preferred
- Strong knowledge of personal care, infection control, and safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and families
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Valid ID and reliable transportation preferred
