Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Convenient Store Sales Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating the entire store.
Available schedules: 3pm-7:30pm fixed
Substitute/ Fill In: Be available 6am-10pm minimum of 4hours a day
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Maintain a visually appealing store through effective merchandising and stocking of products.
- Upsell additional products by understanding customer needs and suggesting complementary items.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when necessary.
- Support inventory management by participating in stock counts and ensuring shelves are well-stocked.
- Keeping the store clean
- Ability to multi task and memorize different functions
Skills
- Proficiency in using POS systems and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Experience in retail sales, with an understanding of retail math principles.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with customers and team members.
- Supervising experience is a plus, helping guide less experienced staff when needed.
- Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving a diverse customer base. English and Spanish

This is a start up, as you help the company progress, expect your pay to increase.
