Duties
- Lead the development and implementation of engaging curriculum plans that support early childhood development and align with best practices in education.
- Manage daily center operations, including staffing, scheduling, and maintaining compliance with licensing regulations and legal requirements such as special education law.
- Oversee personnel management activities, including supervising staff, conducting faculty evaluations, and facilitating professional development opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to promote the center’s growth, sustainability, and community engagement through effective fundraising initiatives.
- Prepare and manage budgets as an executive education administrator, ensuring financial health while maintaining high-quality programming.
- Foster a collaborative team environment by providing instructional leadership in education practices and supporting classroom teachers with coaching and resources.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children by implementing rigorous health protocols, supervising classroom activities, and managing emergency procedures.
- Represent the center at community events and public speaking engagements to promote its mission and build strong relationships with families and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in school administrative leadership or as a school legal knowledge expert with a background in K-12 or early childhood education administration.
- Demonstrated success in curriculum development, instructional leadership in education, and managing educational programs for young children.
- Strong management skills with experience supervising staff, evaluating faculty performance, and overseeing personnel management in an educational setting.
- Expertise in managing budgets as an executive education administrator along with strategic planning capabilities to support long-term growth.
- Knowledge of special education law, classroom experience working with students of diverse needs, including those requiring special accommodations.
- Excellent public speaking skills combined with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, families, and community partners.
- Familiarity with school legal regulations related to early childhood education and licensing standards.
