Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
- Use effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement instructional plans
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote a positive classroom environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in education or childcare is preferred
- Knowledge of curriculum development and instructional strategies
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual students
- Proficiency in math and literacy education
- Experience in physical education or tutoring is a plus
