Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and professional Homemaker to provide in-home support services to clients. The Homemaker will assist clients with household tasks and routine activities that help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment while promoting independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning.
- Assist with laundry, folding, and organizing clothing and household items.
- Change and make beds and maintain a clean and orderly living environment.
- Assist with meal planning and preparation according to the client's needs.
- Assist with grocery shopping and other essential household errands as assigned.
- Provide companionship and social support.
- Assist clients with maintaining their daily routines.
- Report changes in the client's condition, safety concerns, or other issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Follow the client's individualized service plan and company policies.
- Maintain client confidentiality, dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.
- Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow all applicable safety procedures and agency requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in homemaker services, home care, housekeeping, caregiving, or a related field preferred.
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
- Ability to work independently in a client's home.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and respectful approach when working with clients.
- Ability to perform light housekeeping and household tasks.
- Must be able to pass required background checks and meet applicable employment requirements.
